The Charleston Community Music Association was formed in 1933. Over the years, the Board of Directors and the legion of volunteers have worked diligently to bring to the area the finest in entertainment at affordable prices. As a result, the most celebrated names in music and dance, together with the stars of tomorrow, have always found a platform and audience in Charleston.

Today, our world is dramatically different in many ways. But, the mission of the Charleston Community Music Association remains constant. We offer the world's most accomplished performance talents, at reasonable ticket prices, in order that the community can enjoy the best entertainment available year-after-year.

The Community Music Association contributes significantly to the quality of life in Charleston, not only through the performances offered, but also through the efforts of many volunteers who invest much time and effort in the community.

Funding for the Charleston Community Music Association is provided primarily through an annual subscription campaign. The Association is also funded from a special endowment fund and solicits contributions. Contributors are identified in each season's program as:
